It's a duck.... I figured I needed a little break from cats, so I threw in this duck that I took a picture of about a year ago. It started off alright but I don't really like the end result. Looks too cartoony, or childish somehow. Background also too boring....

(2011 update: Near the top of the list for one of the worse paintings I ever did. Can't stand looking at it and may have to take it down... To think that this was up on the walls of my first art show! I'm going to have to paint a better mallard to make up for it.)
