Due to an ice jam on Lake Erie, March 29th, 1848 was the only time in history where both the American falls and the Canadian Horseshoe falls ran dry for a period of roughly 30 hours.

A Canadian was once President of the United States!!
According to historians, the 21st President of the U.S., Chester A. Arthur, was born in Canada.

Winnie the Pooh is named after the city of Winnipeg!
A real life cub named Winnipeg or Winnie for short, owned by Captain Harry Colebourn whose home town was Winnipeg, Manitoba, was the inspiration for the animated Disney cartoon.
