Problem

To create a logo for a wine bar in Portland named Mars. The bar will have a subtle retro theme with a focus on space and Mars.

Solution

I sketched out numerous rough ideas on paper, then narrowed the choices down to the top three I thought worked the best. The client then chose his favourite. After two rounds of revisions he was satisfied with the result.
