Pizza is one thing in Japan that definitely doesn't measure up to North American standards. After a while you give up trying to satisfy your cravings with the cheeseless, dry, thin crusted variety you get over here, (especially when they've got crap like corn, potatoes and mayonaisse on them). However after a lot of searching and taste testing, I have to give the Japan pizza prize to Pizza Hut and their 'Golden Cheese Crust' pizza. Opening a freshly delivered box we are presented with a truly marvelous sight.

You can see from the picture that the crust is full of nice, oily cheese, which is hard to find in Japan.
They also have a sausage crust pizza which is pretty darn good, but being a cheese lover, after trying the cheese crust I've never looked back. I'm afraid that anything else will be too disapointing. Anyway congrats Pizza Hut, your prize is free advertising for a week. Anyway time to dig in!
